Galleries are like a little bubble: those in images within that gallery are sacred and forever protected from external forces. The world could be ending but anyone in those images are sheltered from it all. The emotion and connection can never be taken out of an image once its been capture.

I’m Janelle — a Maine-based engagement, elopement, and destination photographer with a deep love for natural beauty, emotional storytelling, and intentional experiences.

Whether you’re exchanging vows on a windswept cliff in Acadia, escaping to a far-off coastline, to a tropical island in the Caribbean or somewhere off the grid in Southeast Asia, I’m here to tell your story with soul, style, and substance.
Each and every session I photograph I weave in aspects of my own self and life: my background in philosophy, human rights law, my love for travel and culture, my passion for style, and my desire to make anyone that I interact with feeling more loved than they did before they met me.
